Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
You will report to the Director of Human Resources. Your main areas of responsibility will
include but are not confined to:
• Conduct orientation training sessions for new team members, ensuring that the
material is regularly updated as required (new legislation, new policies etc)
• Organise and prepare all new starter packs for new employees.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of training programs, workshops, and
focus groups.
• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including booking through our internal
system (JONAS), arranging materials, and managing registration.
• Maintain and update training materials and resources.
• Ensure that all training materials are accessible to the relevant parties.
• Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training needs
within their department and the organisation at large.
• Conduct training needs analysis to determine specific training requirements.
• Design and develop training content and materials, including presentations and
job aids.
• Liaise with external training providers and vendors to schedule and coordinate
external training programs when necessary.
• Collect feedback from training participants to assess the effectiveness of
programs.
• Evaluate training program outcomes and recommend improvements.
• Generate reports on training activities and attendance for management review.
• Assist management with probation/performance reviews and appraisals.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Compliance with Health and Safety guidelines, training and legislation.
• Implement new and organise renewal of mandatory training such as manual
handling and fire safety training.
• Exhibit and oversee impeccable grooming standards through random
inspections and the management of uniform distribution and procurement
• Instruct individuals in both face-to-face and telephone communication skills,
emphasising a professional and courteous demeanour.
• Explore improved and more effective methods for consistently delivering training
• Establish connections with training providers in the industry to guarantee that
our team has access to the most relevant courses, education, and seminars
Secondary Responsibilities:
This position will play a vital role in the HR Department. The ideal candidate should possess
flexibility and confidence within the HR environment. When called upon by management, this
candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of the department and provide support to
all HR functions such as recruitment, retention, employee benefits and general
administration.
Role Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong power point and Excel skills.
• Proficiency with various multimedia training platforms and methods.
• Capability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
• Competence in designing and implementing effective training and development
programs.
• Set a leadership example by maintaining outstanding grooming standards and
projecting a strong professional presence across the entire resort.
• Promote a strong desire for growth by showing a keen interest in enhancing personal
skills through CPD.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in training coordination and employee development.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Employment Law knowledge is a benefit.
